It’s mid May already! Where did the time go?

We’re back from two weeks in Bakersfield California on a quick LEAN Enterprise Assessment. Two weeks of Process, Productivity and Profitability Analysis, coupled with Appreciative Inquiry based Dialogue. Our Findings and Recommendations have been shared with the client – and are being implemented.  I’ll update you as the effort progresses… Here are the top level goals — Double Effective Capacity, Streamline Flow, Eliminate Handoffs, Eliminate Distractions, “Mistake Proof” the Process (from a compliance standpoint) and Reduce COGS (Improve Profitability)…
